Since 1961, Arem has been manufacturing in-house fully compatible spare parts that are perfectly interchangeable for ALFA LAVAL and GEA WESTFALIA centrifugal separators.
Every component is created from casting to the finished piece within our Genoa workshop: a mechanical laboratory of over 1,000 m², where artisanal expertise and technological control guarantee standards equal to or greater than the original parts.
Unlike many competitors, Arem manufactures, it does not resell: every phase is monitored in-house to ensure precision, traceability, and fast delivery.

- Precision mechanical machining on CNC machines
- Heat and surface treatments for maximum resistance and durability

Every piece is manufactured to be state-of-the-art by specialised personnel and tested before being placed on the market.

Thw AREM workshop: the heart of production
Arem’s headquarters in the port of Genoa houses a 1.000 m² workshop with: turning, milling, balancing, and assembly departments, test benches, and calibrated testing and inspection instruments.
Internal control of every phase ensures short times, customisation, and total quality.
Reverse engineering and control units
In addition to mechanical production, Arem applies reverse engineering techniques for the design and manufacturing of electronic control units for centrifugal separators, capable of optimising operation and managing key parameters.
