Since 1961, we have been internally manufacturing components and solutions for centrifugal separators, combining artisanal experience, technical competence, and industrial control.
Arem is not a simple reseller: we design, machine, and test every component within our workshop, guaranteeing quality, reliability, and continuity over time. From raw material to finished product, every phase is under Arem’s direct control.
A specialised mechanical workshop
Arem production is based in the port of Genoa, within an industrial facility of over 2,000 m², divided between:
- mechanical workshop,
- assembly, testing and inspection areas,
- spare parts warehouse.
The workshop is equipped with: CNC machine tools and precision machining centres, dynamic balancing benches, dimensional measurement and control instruments, and personnel highly specialised in the mechanics of centrifugal separators.
Total control of the production process
One of Arem’s main competitive advantages is the complete control of the production chain. This means:
direct choice of materials,
- in-house mechanical machining,
- dedicated finishes and treatments,
- testing and inspection before market release.
Every component is manufactured to be state-of-the-art, with technical and qualitative characteristics such as to guarantee performance equal to or superior to the original parts.
Production of spare parts for centrifugal separators
Arem specialises in the production of fully compatible spare parts, perfectly interchangeable, for ALFA LAVAL and GEA WESTFALIA centrifugal separators. The spare parts are designed and manufactured in-house to ensure:
- dimensional and functional compatibility,
- mechanical resistance and durability over time,
- rapid availability and operational continuity.
Quality, materials, and testing and inspection
The quality of Arem products is based on:
- first-choice materials (stainless steels, special alloys),
- tolerances and finishes compliant with OEM specifications,

Production, reconditioning, and sustaina
In-house production is strictly linked to the reconditioning service for centrifugal separators.

Reverse engineering and control units
